We owned a 2012 iMac that was running extremely slow. We had been told by 2 other computer services that it was not suitable for updating. However, after contacting Marcel he was positive he could significantly improve it. We also needed to separate 2 separate users, transfer data of one user to new laptop and reset the iMac. Not a small job! Marcel approached these tasks in a methodical manner, breaking down each element and overcoming the many challenges we had given him. After a couple of weeks, we had a refurbished upgraded iMac; separated data of 2 users; set up, configured and transferred one set of data to a new laptop; modified data of other user back to the iMac. Marcel’s technical ability and knowledge is impressive. We recommend him without hesitation.
The ‘R’ key suddenly stopped working on my somewhat ageing 2013 MacBook Pro. I asked around a couple of repair shops in Bournemouth and they all told me it was pretty much unfixable and that I should just buy new as MacBook keyboards are notoriously impossible to replace, but with it being only 8 years old and we’ll looked after, I found this a bit unbelievable. Fortunately my partner had met Marcel at a business event before and passed me his contact details - he was the only IT professional who told me that of course it was fixable, it was tricky but only if you didn’t have the know how. And he really did know how!! After a quick diagnostic trip to Tech Ambulance where Marcel helpfully suggested a couple of additional fixes to completely refurb my Mac at an amazingly reasonable price, he had the parts ordered within days and my MacBook was fixed up and running better than ever within a week. I honestly cannot recommend Marcel at Tech Ambulance highly enough. His prices are incredibly reasonable and he offers a truly professional and expert service. Huge thanks Marcel!!
Where other companies failed to fix my laptop, Tech Ambulance succeeded!! Unfortunately my daughter spilt water on my laptop and after taking it to a couple of tech/repair companies, I was told that it was unrepairable as the motherboard had short circuited and I might as well buy a new one. A replacement would of cost upwards of £1,000. That was until Marcel at Tech Ambulance said that he could help. During the time that Tech Ambulance had my laptop, Marcel kept me updated with progress and to my surprise he got it working despite others saying it was beyond repair. I can’t express how professional and how knowledgeable Tech Ambulance are. Not to mention value for money. I have absolutely no reservations about recommending Tech Ambulance. Truly impressed all round, not to mention saving me a small fortune not having to buy a new laptop.
After having troubles with my custom pc I couldn’t find a good specialist who could help me. Luckily one of my mates recommended me Tech Ambulance. After a consultation over a phone, Marcel booked a home visit for me, came in same day. After a quick look I was assured that there is no issues with my hardware, more likely software issues and couple more bits to do. PC has been collected and repaired to a highest standard, and he was keeping me updated, everything was carefully explained to me. On top of that I had parts for my second PC, I’ve asked him if he could build it and professionally overclock it for me (it wasn’t a standard build). Which he did, again, top work right here. He built it, tested everything and safely overclocked it, while keeping me updated of the whole process. Very pleased with his work and attitude. Reasonable prices, flexible and very committed specialist. If you have any software or hardware issues, or looking to build a custom PC - Tech Ambulance is the right place. Was going to throw my old laptop away from uni as it was ridiculously slow and noisy.. but decided to see if anything can be done to fix it for at least everyday use.. was not expecting much from it, since the hardware has seen its wear and tear over the years.. but now it is faster than ever! Was not expecting this.. No noisy fan, cooling is sorted, upgraded ram, installed an SSD to replace my dvd drive and glued a crack at the fold of the laptop.! The laptop was so awful, it used to take over 5 minutes to boot up - even after a factory reset.. now it boots up in less than 15 seconds! Amazing job. Professionally done, very fast and a good price. Highly recommended
I couldn’t recommend Tech Ambulance enough. I approached Marcel to build me a pc. I told him everything I wanted to achieve and my budget. Being a designer I needed a fast computer that could handle doing lots of things on lots of programmes all at once. Marcel had the knowledge to build exactly what I wanted, in the budget I had, with a really quick turnaround. I couldn’t be happier with the PC.
